Profile

Jeremy S Isherwood Chartered Architect

I firmly believe that the appointment of an architect is a very personal matter for a client and that it is akin to choosing an artist to paint a portrait, because you like their style. A client needs to know who the face is behind the name, and that is the reason I do not delegate work to other people.

RIBA Chartered Practice

I am registered as an architect with the Architects Registration Board, and I am a chartered architect by virtue of my corporate membership of the RIBA. I am also a RIBA Chartered Practice.
The title of “architect” is protected by law. Anyone calling themselves “architect” is required to be on the Register of Architects, which is administered by the Architects Registration Board (ARB). (http://www.arb.org.uk). A RIBA chartered architect has undertaken seven years of architectural training - no other building professional is trained in design and construction to such a level of expertise. I have found from experience that many of my clients have been misled by people calling themselves “architect”, who have disappointed them and who have wasted their time and money.
